User Guide

Choose a folder in Menu Structure, add an action in Menu Actions, and give it a name, a Python script, and a shortcut.

Use New Root and New Child to build folders. Child folders appear before Python actions, and each folder belongs to one parent.

Choose items with their shortcuts or the arrow keys. Press Enter or Right Arrow to activate, Backspace or Left Arrow to go back, and Esc to close.

Set UI Size and Rows Per Column per menu. Reopening centers the last visible selection under the cursor while keeping the popup inside the editor.

Combine Active in Workspaces, Active in Editors, and Active in Blender Modes on a root menu to control when its entire branch is available.

Enable Global Priority with the key icon beside a root folder. Its action shortcuts run directly wherever that root’s context filters allow them.

Hide actions without losing their shortcuts

Section titled “Hide actions without losing their shortcuts”

Turn off an action’s Show in Menu eye to keep the popup compact. Its shortcut still works; the temporary reveal control shows hidden actions without changing their saved visibility.

Duplicate a branch to make an independent copy, or move it to another folder. Copies keep their structure and code but start with shortcuts and Global Priority disabled.

Use Blender’s native Repeat Last, normally Shift+R, to repeat the last compatible operation or successful MenuWeave script. A later Blender operation becomes the new repeat target.

Export the whole configuration or one selected branch as JSON. Import with Append to add independent root menus, or Replace to load a complete setup.
