General
Supported Modes
Section titled “Supported Modes”Keep the same intuitive pivot workflow in Object Mode, Edit Mesh, Edit Curve, Edit Surface, Sculpt Mode, and the UV Editor. Work with supported objects, including Empties in Object Mode, or position the UV 2D Cursor for precise UV transforms.
Pie Menu
Section titled “Pie Menu”Keep your tools within reach with Ctrl + D, the default Pie Menu shortcut. Arrange its eight directions around the actions you use most, then change the shortcut or disable it entirely in the add-on preferences; unavailable actions stay disabled in their familiar slots.
Side Panel
Section titled “Side Panel”Access PivotBreeze directly from the 3D Viewport and UV Editor sidebars, with the same actions available as clear, clickable buttons. Turn off Show Sidebar Panel in the add-on preferences whenever you want a cleaner workspace.
Native Snapping Support
Section titled “Native Snapping Support”Place pivots precisely with Blender’s native snapping in every supported mode, including the UV Editor. Use the familiar snap controls during native transforms; PivotBreeze restores your previous snap setup when you finish, so pivot editing fits naturally into your workflow.
Single & Multiple Objects
Section titled “Single & Multiple Objects”Handle one object or multiple objects across the toolset, within each tool’s supported contexts. Share a pivot across an Object or multi-object Edit selection, or apply a Bounding Box anchor to each selected mesh’s own bounds; Sculpt tools use the active mesh.
Undo Support
Section titled “Undo Support”Refine your pivot with confidence using native Ctrl + Z in every supported mode, including UV cursor editing. PivotBreeze integrates its pivot, cursor, and session changes with Blender’s Undo/Redo history. Esc cancels an open session and restores the starting pivot/cursor, including after completed moves and rotations. Enter / Numpad Enter applies; during a native transform, finish or cancel that transform first.
3D Cursor Control
Section titled “3D Cursor Control”Control the 3D Cursor with nothing selected: in Object Mode, start Activate Pivot to move and rotate the cursor directly. Use native transforms, snapping, or available geometry placement to set up your next transform without changing any object origin.
Easy Add-on Configuration
Section titled “Easy Add-on Configuration”Make PivotBreeze feel at home in your setup. Customize Pie Menu slots and shortcuts, sidebar visibility, snap memory, handle color, placement limits, Empty hierarchy resets, and per-mode exit/reset behavior in the add-on preferences; the Python API also lets you integrate its actions into your own tools.
